Michael was lovely to deal with when arranging a 60th Birthday dinner menu in the Obi Obi Homestead we had booked for the weekend. Pierre was our chef for the evening and took care of us beautifully, and the Canapes and Banquet menu we had chosen were absolutely divine! Delicious food and wonderful cooking made this an evening we will remember for a long time. Very happy to highly recommend!

We recently had the pleasure of having Mike prepare a wonderful in house dining experience for my family when we were in Noosa Heads on holidays . I had done my research and with several fussy eaters in my family , Mike offered the most comprehensive menu . He was incredibly easy to deal with and the quality of the food exceeded anything you could get on Hastings Street. The seafood was fresh and the eye fillet was cooked to perfection . I would have no hesitation in giving Mike my highest recommendation . I have previously used other private chefs for a similar experience on my prior trips to Noosa however , the experience with Mike was the best I have had had .

Hi Michael, I cannot believe it has taken me this long to reply to you after the craziness of Christmas and New Year. We had 22 people on Christmas Day we absolutely could not have done it without you and Capelli Foods! You absolutely made our Christmas and the family were a lot less stressed not having to make a dish for the day. Every single dish was a standout and the desserts an absolute highlight. The rolled Turkey also a highlight as was the Wagyu Beef. Flying in to Australia just days before Christmas and choosing to cater this Christmas lunch was the best decision we have ever made! I just wanted to say thank you. The food was amazing, the snapper was hands down my favourite! Everyone loved the gnocchi and everything else that was served. Your staff went above and beyond, they were polite and courteous. They answered all my questions and spoke to all of the guests. We appreciate everything. Especially being able to help us out last minute. We will definitely recommend your company to anyone that might be looking for catering for an event.

It has been a while since we met at the 2016 Wine Makers event, however I just wanted to pass on how great the food was at The Sunny Kids Event at Ken Mill’s Toyota on Saturday night. My wife and I really enjoyed it and the people around us commented on how good it was considering how hard it would be to feed so many people and maintain such a high standard.

Just wanted to share our utmost thanks and gratitude for the advice, support and help provided by Mick and the team at Capelli’s. We got an initial quote for our wedding from Mick as we were super impressed by his delicious cocktail menu. Unfortunately, due to an extremely tight budget, we eventually went with someone else. Despite this, Mick continued to be very generous with his time and considerable expertise and my Mum and I were in touch with Mick a few times over the proceeding few months, where he was more than happy to give us all the advice we needed. We eventually hired Mick and his crack team to run our bar on the night of the reception. His team were outstanding, absolutely professional and efficient at all times and they kept the place humming along perfectly. We cannot thank Mick enough for the time, energy and effort he gave to us free of charge, simply out of the generosity of his own heart. He took so much stress away from my partner and I with his knowledge and expertise and when you are preparing for a wedding, nothing is more valuable than the removal of stress. Thanks Mick, we’ll always be grateful for the help you gave a young couple with very little clue as to what we were doing.

I wanted to pass on my thanks for taking care of the catering for my little wedding reception. I have told Alisha, but the quality of the food was absolutely exceptional. It exceeded all our expectations and more. Everyone was so impressed at the quality of the food, and Alisha was absolutely great. I cannot thank her enough. I will happily pass on my recommendations to Capelli foods to my friends and family, and hope we can use your services again.

It was a degustation that had our guests searching for superlatives as each course arrived. The Beef Carpaccio, zucchini Flower, Celeriac Remoulade was “divine”, the Prawn and Snapper dumplings “exquisite”, while the venison was labelled “Superb”. All five courses were flavoursome, texturally balanced and impeccably presented. I can’t speak highly enough of chef Michael Hehir’s culinary talents; he’s innovative, matches wines perfectly and is sure to impress even the most discerning bon vivant!

On behalf of my family and myself I would like to thank you and congratulate you on your outstanding catering and service that you have provided to us during our 5 day stay, at Mooloolaba. We were all overwhelmed by the presentation, variety and most notably the quality and freshness of the seafood provided. It is not very often that people attend a wedding and the highlight is the food. Guests are often sadly left unsatisfied with wedding food. However, this was certainly not the case for us. The food you prepared and served was an absolute highlight. We loved it! We were so lucky to find you when we googled ‘wedding banquets’. I was nervous about how it would all turn out. All fears were put aside when we finally got to meet you about a month before the wedding to decide on a menu. You are professional, friendly, accommodating and clearly very good at what you do. We received so many compliments about the food served at our wedding, it left us all wanting more. We would highly recommend your services to anyone, no matter what the occasion. Thank you for being a large contributing factor towards our holiday in Noosa being so special for the family. Being able to enjoy our getaway, without the worry of preparing many meals for 10 people, made our time away even more relaxing and enjoyable.
