Capelli Foods and the Heart of Gold Film Festival

Capelli Foods caters for the International Film Festival.

Capelli have once again been asked to cater for the opening night of the festival. Our Capelli staff, friends, hospitality students are all volunteering their time to come and give a hand to wait and serve the delicious canapés prepared by our chefs.

Greek Lamb Koftas with minted yoghurt dipping sauce
Individual falafel with a honey and tahini dipping sauce
Croquettas filled with corn and manchego with piquillo pimento salsa
Duck rillette on house made sourdough toasts with a micro herb salad
Beef and red bean empanada with spicy capsicum relish
Tartlet of braised leek, tarragon and gruyere, topped with smoked salmon and herbs

Over 4 days in Autumn, the Heart of Gold International Film Festival combines the genuine warmth and hospitality of a country town with Local and International films that are entertaining, thought-provoking and express a positive view of the world and humanity.

Entering its fifth year, Heart of Gold is quickly gaining the recognition and size to establish itself among the best competitive short film festivals in 200 films from over 35 countries mean audiences can view a quality selection of some of the world’s most extraordinary and uplifting films.

From a single 90 minute session, to a day or the full four days; audiences can meet the film makers, take part in seminars with leading local and international guests and; while the films wash over you simply sit back and enjoy the relaxed ambience of this picturesque gold-mining town in the heart of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.
